Family is everything to Aaron.
In everything Aaron does, family comes first. He is the proud dad to Aaron Jones Jr. who loves to play ball with Aaron. He is thankful to be the son of Alvin Sr. and Vurgess Jones, both who served our country for over 25 years. He’s best friends and training partner with his twin brother, Alvin Jr., a great brother to Chelsi and Xavier and certainly the fun uncle to Skylar.
Family support is at the core of his success. Aaron's dad was there for every snap Aaron and Alvin Jr. played at the University of Texas-El Paso, home or away, with their mom alongside him other than one game their freshman year. His parents’ unwavering support and guidance both on and off the field made him the man and father he is today. Alvin Jr. also has been with Aaron every step of the way, training and continually pushing each other. Alvin Jones Sr. passed away earlier in 2021.
“The rest of my career will be dedicated to my father. My dad is everything to me, never missed a game. I know he would want me to continue to push forward, work hard and continue to reach the goals we’ve set. So I’m going to continue to do that. I’m going to continue to honor him.”
